Trine holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a master’s degree in Public Health from Aalborg University (2019).
At AAUBS, Trine will primarily be working with the FUN project (Forretningsudvikling Nordjylland), which is a regional collaboration between Port of Aalborg and AAUBS. The purpose of the project is to make companies aware of their current business model and make them able to work strategically and structured with their development. The goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of North Jutland companies with a focus on business models.
Trine will also be a part of the ReDy project (Centre for Research on Regional Dynamics and Disparities), with Poul Houman Andersen and Jesper Lindgaard Christensen, exploring various sub-industries in Denmark that have interesting dynamics and economic geographical issues, such as Christmas tree production and microbreweries. Her work will primarily be quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
New research focus
Trine has previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the Center for Nutrition and Bowel Disease, Aalborg University Hospital. Before that she worked at Siemens Gamesa for 5 years as a Student Assistant, identifying problems in the working environment and developing and implementing strategies to prevent occupational injuries and sick leave.
The field of research within strategy and business models is therefore new to Trine. However, she finds it very exciting to explore her qualifications and competencies from a new angle. Her goal is to help organisations with their strategic issues.
Private life
Trine is 29 years old and lives in Aalborg with her boyfriend. She enjoys festivals, concerts and comedy shows with a cold drafted beer. To balance the good life, her hobbies include a good run and strength training.
