New Head of Administration: Gitte Brandt

Gitte Brandt is the new Head of Administration at AAUBS. Gitte has more than 20 years of experience in strategic and operational management of administrative units with a wide professional range. She has been manager in both public and private organisations.

Gitte BrandtGitte comes from a position as Head of Administration at DTU, where she has been employed for 9 years - first at DTU Chemical Engineering and most recently at DTU Aqua.

Before DTU, Gitte tried her hand in the private business world and before that, she was employed for 25 years in DR, where she took her basic education as a sound technician and founded her career as a manager.

World-class administration

Gitte believes in high well-being, strong relationships and cross-cutting collaborations as means to deliver business-relevant and sustainable solutions and achieve common results.

She is passionate about building and developing units and processes. At AAUBS, she aims at putting her experiences positively into play, so that she and her teams can realize the vision of "world-class administration".

Her first impression of AAUBS is that she will be part of a dynamic and competent organisation and management, and she is really looking forward to that.

It is a new beginning for Gitte, and she needs knowledge from the employees at AAUBS and help to get to know the organisation.

Gitte is open and straightforward and greatly appreciates sparring and constructive feedback.

Back to Jutland

After 35 years in Copenhagen, she moves back to Jutland together with her husband and their two dogs. They are currently building a new holiday home near Tranum Strand, which they will settle in permanently so they can enjoy the beautiful nature in the area.

Gitte is interested in people's conditions, and she is involved in volunteer work at CSM Midt Nord, which offers help for people who have been victims of sexual abuse in their childhood. She enjoys running in nature, traveling and spending time with family and friends that give her inspiration and energy in her free time.
