Moumita holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Bangladesh and a master's degree in Economics and Business Administration with specialisation in International Business Economics from Aalborg University.

Human resources
Human resources is one of Moumita’s favorite aspects of international business. As a result, she worked on human resources challenges during her master's degree. Her internship project was called "Knowledge Management in Remote Organizational Settings," and her master's thesis was called "Motivation Strategies for Remote German Controllers."
Her PhD topic includes knowledge management issues in innovation alliances between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and multinational enterprises (MNEs).
The overall goal of Moumita’s research is to get her study in front of a larger audience and researchers so that it may be further improved, verified, or refuted. Overall, she wants her research to be utilized by others for further development.
Contribution to the growth of SMEs
Moumita’s PhD research topic has great potential to contribute to the growth of SMEs. Owing to her previous internship experience, she has witnessed that SMEs often tend to overprotect their knowledge from partners. Consequently, they fail to create larger values as well as unintentionally indicate mistrust within the organization.
As a researcher, Moumita aims to provide theoretical and practical contributions on how alliances can overcome such vulnerability, increase knowledge sharing and ensure a win-win situation.
Private life
Moumita is 26 years old and comes from Bangladesh. She is now based in Aalborg, Denmark. She enjoys drawing and listening to music in her leisure time.
