The Editors' Day is a paper development workshop that aims at supporting the process of developing manuscripts for publication in highly ranked international journals.
At the Editors’ Day workshop, editors of selected journals will outline their expectation of a good quality publishable manuscript, and discuss common problems in relation to publishing high-quality research. The editors will also provide feedback on submitted extended abstracts of work in progress with the aim of discussing ways in which they could be further developed into potentially high-quality submissions within the scope of the respective journal.
The main target group is AAUBS researchers in the early stage or their career, i.e. PhD students, postdocs, assistant professors and associate professors with less than 2 years seniority in the position (for associate professors). This means that extended abstracts with an early stage researcher as author/co-author will be given priority over abstracts authored solely by senior researchers. But all AAUBS researchers are welcome to submit extended abstracts.
At the Editors’ Day 2021, editors representing Accounting, Auditing and Accountability, Research Policy, Small Business Economics, and Small Business Review were on the program.
At the Editors’ Day 2023, we were joined by editors from Technovation and Global Strategy Journal.
